Chef and owner Leungo Lippe was classically trained at the Culinary Institute of America and went on to fine tune his skills with stints at MPW (Marco Pierre White, Canary Wharf), L’Escargot (London), The Lennox Room (NYC) and Red Sage (Washington D.C.).
He has travelled and worked extensively over the world and this is reflected in his menu. A love for NYC steaks, means you’ll find the best steak menu in Wanaka. Chef Leungo Lippe’s past raw bar experience, combined with the abundance of New Zealand Kai Moana has resulted in the only raw bar in Wanaka. The outstanding ribs you’ll find on the menu are the culmination of chef Mark Miller’s skills (a pioneer of Tex Mex food) and Southern style American cooking.
